Walker Street Veterinary Clinic in Orland, CA, is seeking an energetic, compassionate associate veterinarian to join our small town clinic. We recognize that our team is the foundation of not just our business, but of our way of life. Help us update this practice with new ideas and creative energy. For over 25 years, Walker Street Veterinary Clinic has delivered Veterinary excellence and has developed a well-earned reputation. We welcome newly graduated Veterinarians to start their careers here, ensuring a high level of support and ongoing education. And for established Veterinarians we offer interesting, diverse and challenging cases, with manageable caseloads and a fair Work-Life Balance. We service 90% dogs and cats with occasional exotics. We also work closely with local animal shelters and rescue organizations, including feral cat spay/neuter programs. We have a loyal clientele, an enthusiastic team-oriented staff, and a homey, small-town vibe.
As a Veterinary Professional you already have a pretty good idea as to the day-to-day requirements of Veterinary medicine and surgery. Here are some of the key skills and abilities that we are seeking that are particularly relevant to this opportunity:
Bilingual (Spanish) capability is a plus. Currently we use Idexx in-house lab equipment; we also have digital x-ray and a dental machine. Full-time is preferred but part-time considered. We are located in Northern California about 100 miles north of Sacramento and about 20 minutes west of Chico State University. Come enjoy the benefits and lower cost of rural Northern California.
